Have you ever been so burned out…you can’t even move?
Not physically, but mentally.
Like the moment you finally have time to yourself, you don’t want to do anything but exist.
On the couch. In your bed. Just… there.
You binge watch Netflix. Stay up way too late because you never watch TV.
You order takeout because even making food feels like too much.
Or fill a grocery order with all the things, comfort food, easy food... the kind that requires no thought.
Emotional eating, they call it.
Yeah… I’ve done that more time than I can count.
Completely numb.
And for a long time, I thought that meant something was wrong.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
Sometimes…that’s exactly what my body needed.
Not laziness. Not failure.
Recovery.
A pause before I can continue on.
I’ve started journaling these moments.
Not to change them, just to recognize when I need to rest.
Sometimes I just.... can't move.
But here’s the thing,
It’s okay to go there.
Just don’t stay there
