Running, But Where Am I Going?

Sometimes I feel like I’m running a race that I’m starting to wonder if it even ends.

Like… what am I even doing anymore?

I’ve been going for so long that I don’t even feel the movement the same way.

The urgency that once pushed me forward has faded into something quieter, almost numb.

And that’s the part no one really talks about.

Not the beginning, where you’re motivated.

Not the breakthrough, where everything finally clicks.

But the middle.

The long, stretched-out middle where you’re still showing up…but you’re tired, unsure, and questioning everything.

If that’s where you are right now, I want you to hear this:

Just because you feel numb doesn’t mean you’re lost.

Just because you’re questioning it doesn’t mean it’s meaningless.

Sometimes numbness is what happens when you’ve been strong for too long without rest. Sometimes the questions come because you’re growing out of who you used to be.

You’re not failing.

You’re in the part of the journey that requires something different now, not more pushing, but more grounding.

Not more proving…but remembering why you started.

So, if all you can do today is keep going gently, that still counts.

Even slow steps are still steps.

Even quiet progress is still progress.

And even here, especially here, you are still moving forward.
